Job Title: Intermediate Architectural Designer Location: New York City About the Role We are seeking a talented Intermediate Architectural Designer with 4-7 years of experience to join our dynamic New York City team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial office interiors, mixed-use developments, and landlord/building architecture. As an Intermediate Designer, you will collaborate closely with Designers and Project Managers to bring concepts to life-transforming client visions into innovative, functional spaces. You'll play a key role in design development, space planning, and ensuring design integrity throughout all project phases. What You'll Do + Develop creative design concepts aligned with client goals and workplace strategies. + Prepare engaging presentations, mood boards, and visualization materials for client meetings. + Create efficient layouts and test fits that optimize space utilization. + Research and specify furniture, finishes, and equipment that reflect design intent and budget. + Advance concepts into detailed plans, elevations, and material palettes. + Collaborate with technical teams to ensure constructability and code compliance. + Develop millwork details and integrate them into construction documents. + Participate in client meetings, present design solutions, and incorporate feedback. + Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to maintain design integrity. + Review shop drawings and assist during construction to uphold design intent. What You Bring + Bachelor's degree in architecture. + 4-7 years of experience in an architectural design firm. + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. + Familiarity with rendering tools such as Enscape or Lumion. + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: + LEED Accreditation. + Architectural license or actively pursuing licensure.
