We are currently looking to hire a PRN, Circulating Nurse, for our Plastic Surgery practice in our Sugar
Land, Texas.

This position is ideal for a candidate who is energetic, friendly, and passionate about the beauty industry (Plastic Surgery); must be a quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced work environment.  Patient experience is a core tenant of our philosophy and as such, candidates should love delivering quality care.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Safe delivery of Operating Room Care.
• RN is responsible for circulating through operating rooms, pre op and recovery area as well as
  some clinic responsibilities as needed.
• Provides patient-centered care. Demonstrates effective communication, consultation, and
  collaboration skills with members of the team.
• Acts as patient advocate and maintains privacy and confidentiality of all appropriate information.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assesses work area readiness, supplies and equipment readiness for a variety of procedures.
• Manages patient safety by implementing perioperative policies and procedures. Takes action to
  correct deficiencies.
• Ability to answer patient questions and ease patient concerns patiently.
• Practice clear and continuous communication with the doctor and staff on all patients daily.

REQUIRED:

• At least 1 year experience in the Perioperative arena, OR circulating experience a requirement.
• Active Texas RN license
• Associates degree from accredited school of nursing program.
