Custodian/Janitor – Auto Dealership

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our dealership. The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated building areas (offices, restrooms, service department, common areas, etc.) in a sanitary and safe condition.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean windows, and polish floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Dust furniture, equipment, and surfaces
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Put on display/Make snacks for customers while they wait in our showroom
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs)
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly
• Lock and unlock doors, turn off lights, and secure buildings as required
• Report any damage, needed repairs, or security concerns to management
• FULL-TIME Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm
• PART-TIME Monday-Saturday 3pm- 8pm

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training; Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. 
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and walk for long periods
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.

Work Conditions:

• May require evening, night, or weekend shifts
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Indoor and occasional outdoor work

Use of protective equipment (gloves, goggles, etc.)
