This role is designed for a dynamic, relationship-driven professional responsible for managing and growing dealer partnerships within the automotive industry. The Dealer Performance Manager will focus on building long-term relationships, driving retention, and achieving revenue goals by aligning dealer needs with tailored solutions. You will provide consultative guidance, analyze performance metrics, and develop strategic account plans for key dealerships. The role requires regular travel throughout the assigned region, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless dealer support. Accountabilities:

  • Manage and strengthen long-term relationships with existing dealer partners to achieve retention and revenue targets
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify dealer needs and match them with appropriate products and solutions
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key dealerships
  • Analyze dealer performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and provide actionable insights
  • Negotiate contract renewals and terms to retain and expand accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of dealer satisfaction and support
  • Travel regularly (up to 75%) to meet dealer partners and foster relationships
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of automotive industry outside sales experience with a focus on consultative, relationship-based selling
  • Strong business acumen, with knowledge of F&I programs, reinsurance, and back-end dealership operations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
