The Role at a Glance

In this position, you will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for workspace design. You will design work space plans and solutions while ensuring that those solutions address business demands and align with workplace design standards, as well as serve as a resource to internal stakeholders on more complex space planning and interior design projects.

What you'll be doing

• Serving as a resource to internal stakeholders on space planning and design projects to ensure timely & successful implementation of space & occupancy planning initiatives.
• Reviewing preliminary design concepts and recommending space layout and ergonomic designs to meet business objectives.
• Facilitating the implementation of more complex workplace solutions in alignment with corporate/business unit objectives including integrating workplace outcomes with business & financial targets.
• Providing more complex design support and guidance by interfacing with design teams to address and communicate design related issues.
• Using CAD to collaborate with internal partners and team members to develop design plans at the lowest cost and best financial outcome.
• Identifying and validating more complex organizational requirements and work space needs including utilization, growth forecasting, specialized requirements, seat counts & employee requirements at the business & employee level.
• Analyzing workplace effectiveness through discussion, site observation, space utilization & benchmarking studies.
• Conducting more complex space layout (test fits, use of space guidelines, office eligibility) & compliance reviews.
• Collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to ensure that workplace designs address changing business demands & align with the enterprise design standards.
• Recommending furnishings, technologies & other infrastructure as it relates to alternative workplace design.
• Purchasing art work and furnishings.
• Influencing change management initiatives that support the enterprise workplace design guidelines.
• Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assessing the impact, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

What we’re looking for

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Interior Design or Architecture (Minimum Required)
• 3 - 5+ Years of experience in workplace planning, commercial architecture, interior design, building construction, life safety and building codes and/or migration management that directly aligns with the responsibilities for this position (Required)

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
