Salary: $101,000 - 203,000 per year Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens can obtain the required security clearance.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is essential prior to starting the position.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Agile Development Methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience with VMware.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#) is required.
• Current TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance must be in place from day one.

Responsibilities:

• I will leverage industry practices and capabilities to design and communicate the implementation of infrastructure solutions.
• I will maintain existing systems using Linux-based tools and manage the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) stack to support program needs.
• I will assist in training junior engineers as needed to support team operations.
• I will contribute to the integration of selected platform provisioning tools such as VMware.
• I will serve as the primary contact for the equipment room (lab) to ensure the proper allocation and maintenance of all computer network and storage resources for the program.
• I will ensure consistency in the COTS stack and versioning across the platform, assisting the team in making necessary updates.
• I will travel to customer sites to provide support for system updates and deliveries as required.

We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer / Linux who possesses comprehensive Linux Infrastructure Engineering knowledge to join our agile product team. The ideal candidate should have a background in traditional infrastructure design and provisioning of platform, storage, and networking resources for existing on-premises infrastructure—preferably with experience in emerging DevOps/DevSecOps and modern technologies.

This position is based in Aurora, CO, within a Secure Compartmented Integration Facility (SCIF) and may involve limited travel (10% or less) to customer locations for necessary support.
